Compactron preamp tube for Wurlitzer 145 amp
These compactron tubes are a great substitute for the 6K11 found in 145 amps. We have tested these in an actual working 145, which proves that they actually sound good (something tube testers will not tell you) and not just that they are free of shorts (which is what tube testers will tell you).

We also promise that we did not put these tubes in a tester that can actually damage the tube. Get your 145 back up and running, or purchase one as reassurance that your amp has many more years to go!
Wurlitzer 145 amps have a cool but scarce tube in the preamp section which handles the vibrato and preamp gain stages. A weak compactron tube in your 145 amp can make your amp lose volume, cause the tremolo to fail, add unwanted crackle or hum, and more.
