Gretsch 6159 guitar amp tubes

Here's the tubes that we removed from a Gretsch 6159 amplifier. The 5U4 and 6L6s are filthy - even a little bit rusty! - because the transformer chassis is attached to the bottom of the amplifier. Not a good placement for something that's clearly been in somebody's garage for decades!

The preamp tubes, on the other hand, were plugged in upside-down to a chassis under the volume knobs, so they're much cleaner.

All seven are vintage RCAs. We've been cleaning and restoring this amp and will be listing it very soon.
